6th IFEX and 58th Foundry Congress held in Ahmedabad in 2010 Feb.

Qingdao Duratight delegation, under the leadership of general manager Maggie Zhou, went to India for a fourteen-day study visiting from January 24th, 2010 to February 7th, 2010. The Duratight team paid a visit to casting factories, steel mills, trading companies and the Indian Foundry Association, ITPO, respectively in six regions including New Delhi, Agra, and Mumbai; the exchange of information on casting technology, casting requirements, increasing carbon and graphite products agent market and demand issues. Through the Indian Foundry Association, the delegation has listened to suggestions on graphite product promotion. The Duratight delegation have participated the 6th IFEX and 58th Foundry Congress held in Ahmedabad from 5th to 7th Feb. 2010.

There is a large amount of graphite reserves in India. Many carbon factories have long operating history; but due to lack of technical aspects, India is still at a relatively low carbon development stage. We believe that as technology exchanges and development, India's carbon industry will have a prosperous future and will support India's foundry industry and the construction industry. With the continued strengthening of infrastructure in India, the Indian market for casting and casting accessories category will continue to increase the demand. Carburizer, slag remover and other foundry materials manufactured by Duratight Group will develop well on India market. In particular, DT-CA-09 will be an excellent replacement product for CSC with much less pollution. Duratight Carburizer has pointed to a new light pollution direction for Indian industry.

After examination of the Indian market, Duratight has finalized the development strategy on Indian market.
